The Simu Hydropower Project is a run-of-river renewable energy project within Kwanza’s hydropower portfolio in Uganda. The project is being advanced to supply clean and dependable electricity to the national grid, contribute to Uganda’s renewable energy objectives, and support long-term energy security through sustainable domestic generation capacity.
Kwanza is involved in project development, commercial structuring, stakeholder coordination, financing strategy, and the management of the technical, legal, environmental, and bankability workstreams required to take the project toward implementation.
