The Bulambuli-Moroto Independent Power Transmission Project is being developed to strengthen high- voltage transmission infrastructure in Eastern Uganda and improve the delivery of reliable power into currently underserved areas. The project is intended to enhance grid stability, support industrial and regional economic growth, and contribute to the evolution of private sector participation in transmission infrastructure in Uganda.
Kwanza is the originating sponsor and lead developer of the project, responsible for project origination, development structuring, regulatory and stakeholder engagement, and the mobilisation of strategic technical and financial partners.
